When we first arrived we were told it would be 30-35 minutes for a table. As there is (for some strange reason) a dearth of restaurants in Daytona Beach, we decided to wait. It was a happy surprise when we were called up in only 15 minutes. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly. The two hostesses were just lovely. Even better our server, Jason C, was the stuff dreams are made of when it comes to service. He was AWESOME. This dude should seriously be in charge of training all the staff. He was at our table taking drink/appetizer orders within a minute of the hostess seating us. He even brought biscuits with him! I've never received those yummy, mouth-watering biscuits so quickly. Jason took our entree orders, kept our drinks full and checked on us a couple of times while awaiting our food. Our food came out in under 15 minutes! This, with a super-crowded busy restaurant. I had the coconut shrimp and it was superb as usual. If you've never ordered this at Red Lobster I highly recommend. The BF had the lobster scampi and ate every bite. We finished up with a carrot cake that we got for FREE! Ask your server (thanks Jason!) and they will tell you how to make that magic happen. It is Red Lobster, a chain restaurant, not fine dining but the food is good, selection is varied and they are consistent. This location, however, stands out for its wonderful customer care.

While staying at the Hyatt Place, I went to Red Lobster not one, not two but three times during my stay. I was traveling alone and my experience at this Red Lobster was much better than at other restaurants (granted I didn't have a car and could only walk to four restaurants). I liked that they actually gave me a booth to sit in every time (unlike other places that looked at me with disdain with my party of one and suggested I eat at the bar). All of my servers were extremely friendly. I never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Normally, I'm not into chain restaurants, but it was Lobsterfest and there was some good seafood items on the menu. My food was hot, good and came out quickly. The crab legs were very good. I went to a seafood place on the beach hoping for more fresh, local cuisine but oddly the Red Lobster seafood tasted fresher and better. The prices were reasonable. I was very pleased. If I'm ever in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Didn't serve milk. Couldn't make a grilled cheese. Not pet friendly:((( my poor pooch buddy wasn't allowed inside. Anyone with a heart with will AVOID this dump.

Awful. The waitress couldn't manage to refill drinks, provide napkins, or take an order properly. The food wasn't practically inedible, it was ACTUALLY inedible. The only thing redeeming about the place would be that it's not busy at all, but I suspect that's because the locals all know it's awful.

Ok. I'll admit that I would really be giving this RL 4 stars, but I'll give it 5 to offset the couple who posted two extremely negative reviews below. Maybe they didn't realize they were at a chain restaurant........ That being said, we stopped into this Red Lobster as it was near our hotel and it was getting late. We sat at the bar around 10pm on a Monday night and they were closing at 11. It wasn't busy and we considered skipping off to another spot, but they welcomed us warmly. The bartender was great, knew the menu, and treated us well. The food was typical Red Lobster stuff. I have to say, I've eaten at Red Lobsters many times and I think they get a bad rap. I've never had a bad meal at RL. This was consistent with every other Red Lobster I've been to. The food was solid, served promptly , and the service was great. It definitely beat the pants off of Aunt Catfish's, where we had dinner the night before.

The restaurant was clean and the staff is great!! Prices are right in line with the area. There are a lot of unique restaurants in the area. So I think this may keep the prices low.

Very rude service. Orderered a pina colada, waiter asked my friend if he was over 21 he said yes and went to the rest room. He asked me if I was over 21 and I said "yes I am 24" and then he said "can i see your id". Never coming back here again!

It's what you expect from Red Lobster Our server was friendly, but not very attentive (with 2 teenage boys, would have like to at least get an offer to provide more biscuits). One in our party had soup, the first course, but the bowl remained on the table until we left - considering we were adjacent to the 'station', it would have been easy to clear that dish.

An all around alright Red Lobster. Nothing special and extremely standard. The place does look fairly nice at it seems like a recently renovated Red Lobster. Nothing much to say. The food tastes fairly good with nothing wrong, but its just standard Red Lobster. Nothing amazing. Unlike some other reviewers, I did not experience any service problems. We came early so the place was empty and got our food relatively quickly with no hassles.

My favorite seafood place. Food and service are very good with a friendly staff. Atmosphere is better at their ISB location however.

Disappointing. Food was typical cookie cutter Red Lobster and my rating is solely on service. The place was empty and we still had to wait just shy of an hour for our main. Waitress was preoccupied with cleaning tasks and service suffered. Asked for some lemon right when she brought main course and I had to wait 10 mins while she decided that clearing the table next to us, which wasn't hers, was a higher priority. Can't imagine what this place would be like during the busy season. I would recommend steering clear.

A rotten meal. Poor quality. Little, old shrimp in cutesy sauce and tasteless fish. When I complained about the food....the manager wanted to know/insisted on knowing who was my server. What does server's identity have to do with the food quality? Red Lobster produces pretty plates of food not worth worth eating. The only GOOD Red Lobster I ever found was in Winnipeg, Canada, where I had Arctic char.

I love seafood, Red lobster is always serving great dishes. The view is nice, right along the beach side. Service is pretty great, food always comes out quick! Been going here for over 4 years every time I wanted Red Lobster, much better then the other red lobsters near by. Keep up the great work!

I would say that red lobster surprise me ! Its my 1st in the past ten yrs and food was great! I had sangria for a drink , bar harbor bake was delish , linguini with all the seafood mussels, lobster, scallop and shrimp in lemon butter sauce. Love it and very generous size . My friend had sirloin and lobster and the steak is tender and pink in the middle. Restaurant is under renovation right now.

AWESOME SERVICE. My boyfriend and I went here for lunch while on vacation from Connecticut. George our server was as good as a server can get. The service here is great ALL AROUND. Even the hostess who sat us asked us where we would like to sit and even asked if we needed more drinks during our meal. Everybody working together as a team to make sure everybody is happy and taken care of. We got shrimp scampi, fried fish and were happy that they offered baked potatoes for lunch. (Up here in CT they don't offer them until after 3pm in most restaurants). George picked up on my small comment that I love the rolls and made sure we were swamped with delicious (and good and hot!) rolls at all times. Our drinks were 1/2 full and he brought 2 new fresh ones "just in case" he said. You can't find service like this in any Red Lobster (or chain restaurant) in CT or Massachusetts. Even the bathrooms were clean and taken care of nicely. We know we will be going back to this Red Lobster next time we find ourselves on Daytona Beach. A guaranteed great experience.

3 1/2 star. Came early, but it was busy...early bird special, ya know, it's Florida. ...so we ate at the bar. Great service. good food. I love their lobster rolls. Coconut shrimp app was really good. It's about time a chain had tasty, ice cold beers on tap.
